The atmosphere on this record is amazing dark and beautiful almost spiritual at some points and crushing at others every song gave me goosebumps at some point

This is very beautiful and smooth metal, no matter if you call it folk, black, pagan or whatever metal. The melodies and the dense atmosphere remind me sometimes at Void Ritual or Winterfylleth, but they bring a more positive, hopeful mood with them besides the basic aggressiveness and melancholy. It is difficult to name a favourite. I see the album as an epic opus in total, there are no catchy hits with repeating refrains as you may know it for example from Amorphis or Soilwork. Simply great!
